حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ قَالَ: نَا رَوْحُ بْنُ صَلَاحٍ قَالَ: نَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُلَيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ. عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

إِنَّمَا الْحَسَدُ فِي اثْنَتَيْنِ: رَجُلٌ آتَاهُ اللهُ الْقُرْآنَ فَقَامَ بِهِ فَأَحَلَّ حَلَالَهُ وَحَرَّمَ حَرَامَهُ، وَرَجُلٌ آتَاهُ اللهُ مَالًا فَوَصَلَ مِنْهُ أَقَارِبَهُ وَرَحِمَهُ وَعَمِلَ بِطَاعَةِ اللهِ فِيهِ

Translation

✧ Envy is only in two cases: a man to whom God gave the Quran and he stood by it, making lawful what it makes lawful and forbidding what it forbids; and a man to whom God gave wealth and he used it to maintain his relatives and kin and acted in obedience to God with it.
