✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ used to pray leaning against a palm trunk. A Roman passed by and said: 'If Muhammad would invite me, I would make for him something more comfortable than this.' She said: So he was invited on behalf of the Messenger of God ﷺ, and he made for him a pulpit with four steps. The Prophet ﷺ ascended the pulpit and gave a sermon, and the trunk moaned as a she-camel moans. The Messenger of God ﷺ came down to it and said: 'What is the matter with you? If you wish, I will call upon God to return you to your place, and if you wish, I will call upon God to admit you to Paradise and you will bear fruit there, so that the sent prophets of God and His righteous servants may eat from your fruit.' He said: I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: 'Yes.' Then the trunk sank into the ground and vanished.
