حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْجَوَارِبِيُّ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا عَمِّي عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ قَالَ: نَا مُعَلَّى بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، الرَّجُلُ يَكُونُ حَامِيَةَ الْقَوْمِ وَيَدْفَعُ عَنْ أَصْحَابِهِ، أَيَكُونُ نَصِيبُهُ مِثْلَ نَصِيبِ غَيْرِهِ ؟ قَالَ: ثَكِلَتْكَ أُمُّكَ، وَهَلْ تُرْزَقُونَ وَتُنْصَرُونَ إِلَّا بِضُعَفَائِكُمْ
