حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: نَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْوَاسِطِيُّ قَالَ: نَا هُشَيْمٌ قَالَ: نَا سَيَّارٌ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ:
لَمَّا تُوُفِّيَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ، فَأَرَادُوا أَنْ يُخْرِجُوهُ بِاللَّيْلِ. قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ: لَوْ أَخَّرْتُمُوهُ حَتَّى تُصْبِحُوا، فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: إِنَّهَا تَطْلُعُ بِقَرْنَيْ شَيْطَانٍ

✧ When 'Abd al-Rahman b. Zayd b. al-Khattab died, they wanted to take him out at night. Ibn 'Umar said: 'If only you would delay him until morning, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "It rises with the two horns of a devil."'
