حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّيْدَلَانِيُّ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنُ كَثِيرٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ قَالَ: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ أَعْيَنَ قَالَ: نَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ مَرْدَانَبَهْ عَنْ رَقَبَةَ بْنِ مَصْقَلَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ. عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

إِذَا هَلَكَ كِسْرَى فَلَا كِسْرَى بَعْدَهُ، وَإِذَا هَلَكَ قَيْصَرُ فَلَا قَيْصَرَ بَعْدَهُ، وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَتُنْفَقَنَّ كُنُوزُهُمَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ

✧ When Kisra dies, there will be no Kisra after him. When Qaysar dies, there will be no Qaysar after him. By the One in whose hand is my soul, their treasures will certainly be spent in the way of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic.
