حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ، قَالَ: نَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ بِسْطَامٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ قَالَ: نَا الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقُشَيْرِيُّ قَالَ: نَا مُبَارَكُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ جُدْعَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ. عَنْ عَائِشَةَ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَدْعُو: يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ، ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينِكَ. قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: فَقُلْتُ بِأَبِي أَنْتَ وَأُمِّي يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَتَخَافُ وَأَنْتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ؟ فَقَالَ: " يَا عَائِشَةُ إِنَّ قُلُوبَ بَنِي آدَمَ بَيْنَ أُصْبُعَيْنِ مِنْ أَصَابِعِ الرَّحْمَنِ، فَمَنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يَقْلِبَهُ مِنَ الضَّلَالَةِ إِلَى الْهُدَى، وَمِنَ الْهُدَى إِلَى الضَّلَالَةِ فَعَلَ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ used to supplicate: 'O Turner of hearts, make my heart firm upon Your religion.' Aisha said: 'I said: By my father and mother, O Messenger of Allah, do you fear while you are the Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'O Aisha, the hearts of the children of Adam are between two fingers of the fingers of the Most Merciful. Whomever He wills to turn from misguidance to guidance, or from guidance to misguidance, He does.'
