حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ، قَالَ: نَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الصَّفَّارُ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ: نَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَخُو أَبِي حُرَّةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ وَهْبٍ. عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ
أَنَّهُ أَفْرَغَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ إِدَاوَةٍ، وَقَدْ قَضَى حَاجَتَهُ، فَتَوَضَّأَ، فَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ، وَذَهَبَ يُخْرِجُ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ الْجُبَّةِ، فَإِذَا هِيَ ضَيِّقَةُ الْكُمَّيْنِ. فَأَخْرَجَهُمَا مِنْ أَسْفَلِ الْجُبَّةِ، فَتَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ. ثُمَّ أَتَيْنَا عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ وَقَدْ صَلَّى رَكْعَةً، فَصَلَّيْنَا مَعَهُ رَكْعَةً، وَقَضَيْنَا الرَّكْعَةَ الَّتِي فَاتَتْنَا

✧ He poured water for the Messenger of God ﷺ from a small vessel after he had relieved himself, and he performed ablution: he washed his face, and then tried to take his hands out of his jubba, but its sleeves were too tight. So he took them out from under the jubba and performed ablution, and he wiped over his leather socks. Then we came to 'Abd al-Rahman b. 'Awf, who had already prayed one rak'ah, so we prayed one rak'ah with him and made up the rak'ah we had missed.
