حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ، قَالَ: نَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ: نَا عَمْرُو بْنُ وَاقِدٍ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ. عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ:
كَسَانِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ حُلَّةً سِيَرَاءَ، فَلَبَسْتُهَا، فَغَدَوْتُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، فَلَمَّا رَآهَا عَلَيَّ، قَالَ: إِنِّي لَمْ أَكْسُكَهَا لِتَلْبَسَهَا، إِنَّمَا بَعَثْتُ بِهَا إِلَيْكَ لِتَكْسُوَهَا النِّسَاءَ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ clothed me in a striped silk garment, and I wore it. I went to the Prophet ﷺ in the morning, and when he saw it on me, he said: “I did not clothe you in it for you to wear it; I only sent it to you so that you could clothe the women with it.”
