"عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: أنَّ امَرَأَةً ذَكرَتْ لَهَا أَنَّهَا تَصُومُ رَجَب، فَقَالتْ: إِنْ كُنُتِ صَائِمَةً شَهرًا لَا مَحَالَةَ، فَعَلَيْكِ بِشَعْبَانَ؛ فَإِنَّ فِيهِ الفَضْلَ".

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. ʿĀʾishah

✧ On the authority of ʿĀʾishah, she said: A woman mentioned to her that she fasts in Rajab, so she said: If you must fast a month, then fast Shaʿbān, for in it there is merit.
