عَنْ عَلىٍّ قَالَ:
حَقٌّ عَلَى الإِمَامِ أنْ يحْكُمَ بِمَا أنْزلَ الله، وَأنْ يؤَدِّىَ الأمَانَةَ، فَإِذَا فَعَل ذَلِكَ فَحَقٌّ عَلَى النَّاسِ أنْ يَسْمَعُوا لَهُ وَأنْ يُطِيعُوا، وَأنْ يُجِيبُوا إِذَا دُعُوا.
Translation
Chain of narrators

✧ It is incumbent upon the imam to judge by what Allah ﷻ has revealed and to fulfill the trust. If he does that, then it is incumbent upon the people to listen to him, obey him, and respond when they are called.
