"From Ubayy, who said: There was a man of the Anṣār whose house was the farthest house in Medina, and he never missed the prayer with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. (I felt for him) () so I said to him: O so-and-so, if only you bought a donkey to protect you from the scorching ground and from the vermin of the earth? He said: By Allah, I would not like my house to be next to the house of Muḥammad ﷺ. So I was burdened by it until I came to the Prophet of Allah ﷺ and told him. He called the man, and he said the same to him, and he mentioned that he hoped for reward for his footsteps. The Prophet ﷺ said to him: You have what you sought as reward."
