أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نَصْرِ بْنُ قَتَادَةَ, أَنَا أَبُو الْفَضْلِ بْنُ خَمِيرَوَيْهِ, ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ نَجْدَةَ, ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ, ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ, قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو هَانِئٍ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ, أَنَّ أَبَا عَلِيٍّ عَمْرَو بْنَ مَالِكٍ الْجَنْبِيَّ, حَدَّثَهُ, عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُهُ
يَقُولُ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ فَيَخِرُّ رِجَالٌ مِنْ قَامَتِهِمْ فِي الصَّلَاةِ, مِمَّا بِهِمْ مِنَ الْخَصَاصَةِ, وَهُمْ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الصُّفَّةِ, حَتَّى يَقُولَ الْأَعْرَابُ: إِنَّ هَؤُلَاءِ لِمَجَانِينَ, فَإِذَا قَضَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الصَّلَاةَ انْصَرَفَ إِلَيْهِمْ, فَقَالَ: " لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ مَا لَكُمْ عِنْدَ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَأَحْبَبْتُمْ لَوْ أَنَّكُمْ تَزْدَادُونَ فَاقَةً وَحَاجَةً ", قَالَ: فَقَالَ فَضَالَةُ: " وَأَنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَئِذٍ "
