أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ, أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي, نَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ, نَا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ, نَا شُعْبَةُ, نَا ثَابِتٌ الْبُنَانِيُّ, عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ,
قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: " لَا يَتَمَنَّيَنَّ أَحَدُكُمُ الْمَوْتَ لِضُرٍّ أَصَابَهُ فَإِنْ كَانَ لَا بُدَّ فَاعِلًا فَلْيَقُلِ: اللهُمَّ أَحْيِنِي مَا كَانَتِ الْحَيَاةُ خَيْرًا لِي وَتَوَفَنِي إِذَا كَانَتِ الْوَفَاةُ خَيْرًا لِي ".
