أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، نَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، نَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ، نَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، نَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الْأَزْرَقِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ عَسْعَسٍ،
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَدَ رَجُلًا فَسَأَلَ عَنْهُ، فَجَاءَ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنِّي أَرَدْتُ أَنْ آتِيَ هَذَا الْجَبَلَ فَأَخْلُوَ فِيهِ وَأَتَعَبَّدَ. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: " لَصَبْرُ أَحَدِكُمْ سَاعَةً عَلَى مَا يَكْرَهُ فِي بَعْضِ مَوَاطِنِ الْإِسْلَامِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ عِبَادَتِهِ خَالِيًا أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً "
