✧ Abandoning anger, suppressing rage, and pardoning when able; Allah, Mighty and Majestic, says: "and those who restrain anger and pardon people; and Allah loves the doers of good"

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْحُسَيْنِ الْوَرَّاقَ،
يَقُولُ: " الْكَرَمُ فِي الْعَفْوِ أَنْ لَا تَذْكُرَ خِيَانَةَ صَاحِبِكَ بَعْدَ أَنْ عَفَوْتَ عَنْهُ "، قَالَ: وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: " اللَّئِيمُ لَا يُوَفَّقُ لِلْعَفْوِ مِنْ ضِيقِ صَدْرِهِ "
