✧ Abandoning anger, suppressing rage, and pardoning when able; Allah, Mighty and Majestic, says: "and those who restrain anger and pardon people; and Allah loves the doers of good"

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعْدٍ الْمَالِينِيُّ، أنا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ رَشِيقٍ، نا أَبُو دُجَانَةَ، نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْمَعَافِرِيُّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ذَا النُّونِ،
يَقُولُ: " أَمَّا إِنَّهُ مِنَ الْحُمْقِ الْتِمَاسُ الْإِخْوَانِ بِغَيْرِ الْوَفَاءِ، وَطَلَبُ الْآخِرَةِ بِالرِّيَاءِ، وَمَوَدَّةُ النِّسَاءِ بِالْغِلْظَةِ "
