Jaʿfar al-Bajalī narrated to us, from al-Rukayn b. al-Rabīʿ, he said: My paternal uncle narrated to me, from Abū Yaḥyā Khuraym b. Fātik, from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, who said: "People are of four kinds, and deeds are of six kinds: the two that make something obligatory, like for like, ten-fold, and seven hundred-fold. Whoever dies a disbeliever, the Fire becomes obligatory for him, and whoever dies a believer, Paradise becomes obligatory for him. A servant does an evil deed and is not recompensed except with the like of it. A servant intends a good deed, and one good deed is recorded for him. A servant does a good deed, and ten are recorded for him. A servant spends a expenditure in the cause of Allah, and it is multiplied for him seven hundred-fold. And people are of four kinds: one granted abundance in this world and granted abundance in the Hereafter; one granted abundance in this world, or restricted in the Hereafter; one restricted in this world and granted abundance in the Hereafter; and one wretched in this world and the Hereafter."
