He said: ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib fathered the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, the master of the children of Adam, Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh, and his mother was Āminah bint Wahb b. ʿAbd Manāf b. Zuhrah b. Kilāb b. Murrah b. Kaʿb b. Luʾayy b. Ghālib b. Fihr. Then he mentioned the lineages of the grandmothers, then said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ is the noblest of the children of Adam in standing and the most excellent of them in lineage, on both his father's and his mother's side.
