أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْمُحَمَّدَآباذِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّاسٌ الدُّورِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُنَيْسٍ الْمَكِّيُّ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ،
قَالَ: قَالَ لِي عَطَاءٌ: جَاءَنِي طَاوُسٌ الْيَمَانِيُّ بِكَلَامٍ مُتَخَيَّرٍ مِنْ هَذَا الْكَلَامِ، فَقَالَ لِي: " يَا عَطَاءُ إِيَّاكَ أَنْ تَطْلُبَ حَوَائِجَكَ إِلَى مَنْ أَغْلَقَ دُونَكَ بَابَهُ وَجَعَلَ عَلَيْهَا حِجَابَهُ، وَعَلَيْكَ بِمَنْ بَابُهُ لَكَ مَفْتُوحٌ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ؛ أَمَرَكَ أَنْ تَسْأَلَهُ، وَوَعْدَكَ أَنْ يُجِيبَكَ "
