حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ - نَحْوَهُ

Translation

✧ Qutayba b. Sa'id narrated to us from Malik b. Anas, from Rabi'a b. Abi 'Abd al-Rahman, from Anas b. Malik - similar to it.

توفاه الله على رأس ستين سنة هذا أحد قولي أنس وفي الرواية الأخرى عنه ثلاث وستين ووافقه على ذلك عبد الله بن عباس ومعاوية وعائشة وهو أصح الأقوال وأصح الروايات على ما ذكره البخاري
