Supplications of Eating

حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ وَمَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلانَ قَالا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَيَرْضَى عَنِ الْعَبْدِ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ الأَكْلَةَ أَوْ يَشْرَبَ الشَّرْبَةَ فَيَحْمَدَهُ عَلَيْهَا

Translation

  3. Zakariyyā b. Abū Zāʾidah
  4. Saʿīd b. Abū Burdah
  5. Anas b. Mālik
  6. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

"Allah’s Messenger said ﷺ: 'Allah is surely well pleased with the servant’s eating and praising Him for the food, or drinking and praising Him for the drink'!”
