- وعن عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص، رضي الله عنهما قال:
قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "يا عبد الله لا تكن مثل فلان: كان يقوم الليل فترك قيام الليل"
Translation
'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'As (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said to me, "Do not be like so-and-so O 'Abdullah! He used to pray during the night, then stopped the practice." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
