أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ قَالَ
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ النَّبِيلُ الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ زُرَيْعٍ عَنْ رَوْحِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنِ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا انْتَهَى أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى الْمَجْلِسِ فَلْيُسَلِّمْ فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَقُومَ وَالْقَوْمُ جُلُوسٌ فَلْيُسَلِّمْ مَا الْأُولَى بِأَحَقَّ مِنْهَا»

✧ Abu 'Asim al-Nabil al-Dahhak b. Makhlad narrated to us from Yazid b. Zuray' from Rawh b. al-Qasim from Ibn 'Ajlan from al-Maqburi from Abu Hurayrah who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you reaches a gathering, let him greet with salam. When he wants to stand while the people are sitting, let him greet with salam. The first is not more deserving than it."
