أَخْبَرَنَا الْجَارُودُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَجْلَانَ يَقُولُ حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدٌ الْمَقْبُرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا قَعَدَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيُسَلِّمْ وَإِذَا قَامَ فَلْيُسَلِّمْ فَلَيْسَتِ الْأُولَى بِأَحَقَّ مِنَ الْآخِرَةِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you sits, let him greet with salam, and when he stands, let him greet with salam. The first is not more deserving than the last."
