أَخْبَرَنِي هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْوَضَّاحِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ الْجَزَرِيِّ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ بَعْدَ الزَّوَالِ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ وَيَقُولُ «إِنَّ أَبْوَابَ السَّمَاءِ تُفْتَحُ فَأُحِبُّ أَنْ أُقَدِّمَ فِيهَا عَمَلًا صَالِحًا»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray before Zuhr after the sun had passed its zenith four rak'ahs, and he would say: “The gates of heaven are opened, so I love to send up a righteous deed in them.”
