أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الأَنْصَارِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ قَالَ

مَاتَ رَجُلٌ بِخَيْبَرَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ صَلُّوا عَلَى صَاحِبِكُمْ إِنَّهُ غَلَّ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَفَتَّشْنَا مَتَاعَهُ فَوَجَدْنَا فِيهِ خَرَزًا مِنْ خَرَزِ يَهُودَ مَا يُسَاوِي دِرْهَمَيْنِ

    كذا رواه حماد بن زيد ورواه جماعة عن يحيى عن محمد بن يحيى عن أبي عمرة عن زيد بن خالد عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم القصة وهو الصحيح

    machine translationḤammād b. Zayd narrated it thus, and a group narrated it from Yaḥyā, from Muḥammad b. Yaḥyā, from Abū ʿAmrah, from Zayd b. Khālid, from the Prophet ﷺ, the account, and that is the sound (ṣaḥīḥ) version.
