حَدَّثَنَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ حَمْزَةَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْهَادِ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ حَزْمٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيَقُلْ خَيْرًا أَوْ لِيَسْكُتْ وَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيُكْرِمْ جَارَهُ وَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيُكْرِمْ ضَيْفَهُ وَالضِّيَافَةُ ثَلَاثُ لَيَالٍ فَمَا كَانَ وَرَاءَ ذَلِكَ فَهُوَ صَدَقَةٌ»

✧ That he heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: “Whoever believes in God and the Last Day, let him speak good or remain silent; whoever believes in God and the Last Day, let him honor his neighbor; whoever believes in God and the Last Day, let him honor his guest. Hospitality is three nights, and whatever is beyond that is charity.”
