أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْعَلَاءُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يَقُلْ أَحَدُكُمْ عَبْدِي وَأَمَتِي كُلُّكُمْ عَبِيدُ اللهِ وَكُلُّ نِسَائِكُمْ إِمَاءُ اللهِ وَلَكِنْ غُلَامِي وَجَارِيَتِي وَفَتَايَ وَفَتَاتِي

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "None of you should say 'my slave' or 'my slave girl,' for all of you are slaves of Allah and all your women are slave women of Allah. But say 'my boy,' 'my girl,' 'my young servant,' and 'my young servant girl.'"
