أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يَقُولُ أَنْبَأَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ وَأَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ التَّيْمِيُّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

عَطَسَ رَجُلَانِ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَشَمَّتَ أَحَدَهُمَا وَتَرَكَ الْآخِرَ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ عَطَسَ عِنْدَكَ رَجُلَانِ فَشَمَّتَّ أَحَدَهُمَا وَتَرَكْتَ الْآخِرَ؟ فَقَالَ «إنَّ» هَذَا حَمِدَ اللهَ وَإنَّ هَذَا لَمْ يَحْمَدِ اللهُ وَاللَّفْظُ لِعِمْرَانَ

✧ Two men sneezed in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ, and he blessed one of them and left the other. They said: “O Messenger of Allah, two men sneezed in your presence, and you blessed one of them and left the other?” He said: “This one praised Allah, but this one did not praise Allah.” The wording is that of ‘Imran.
