أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ قَالَ
صَلَّى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ الظُّهْرَ فَقَرَأَ رَجُلٌ خَلْفَهُ {سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى} [الأعلى 1] فَلَمَّا صَلَّى قَالَ مَنْ قَرَأَ {سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى} [الأعلى 1] قَالَ رَجُلٌ أَنَا قَالَ «قَدْ عَلِمْتُ أَنَّ بَعْضَكُمْ قَدْ خَالَجَنِيهَا»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ prayed Zuhr, and a man behind him recited 'Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High' [al-A'la 1]. When he finished praying, he said, "Who recited 'Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High'?" A man said, "I did." He said, "I knew that some of you were contending with me in it."
