أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنَ الشُّحِّ وَالْجُبْنِ وَفِتْنَةِ الصَّدْرِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ [59] أَرْسَلَهُ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ 9887 أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَتَعَوَّذُ مُرْسَلٌ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to seek refuge from avarice, cowardice, the trial of the chest, and the punishment of the grave. [59] Sufyan b. Sa'id narrated it as mursal. 9887: Ahmad b. Sulayman informed us, saying: Abu Dawud narrated to us from Sufyan from Abu Ishaq from 'Amr b. Maymun, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to seek refuge—mursal.
