أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ رُزَيْقٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
بَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَعِنْدَهُ جِبْرِيلُ إِذْ سَمِعَ نَقِيضًا فَوْقَهُ فَرَفَعَ جِبْرِيلُ بَصَرَهُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فَقَالَ هَذَا بَابٌ قَدْ فُتِحَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَا فُتِحَ قَطُّ قَالَ فَنَزَلَ مِنْهُ مَلَكٌ فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ أَبْشِرْ بِنُورَيْنِ قَدْ أُوتِيتَهُمَا لَمْ يُؤْتَهُمَا نَبِيٌّ قَبْلَكَ فَاتِحَةُ الْكِتَابِ وَخَوَاتِيمُ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ لَنْ تَقْرَأَ حَرَفًا مِنْهَا إِلَّا أَعْطَيْتَهُ

✧ While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was with Jibril, he heard a creaking sound above him. Jibril raised his gaze to the sky and said, "This is a gate that has been opened in heaven, never opened before." He said, "An angel descended from it and came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, 'Rejoice in two lights you have been given, which no prophet before you was given: the Opening Chapter of the Book and the closing verses of Surah al-Baqarah. You will not recite a letter of them except that you will be given it.'"
