أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ عَنْ حَيْوَةَ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي كَعْبُ بْنُ عَلْقَمَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ مَوْلَى نَافِعِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْقُرَشِيِّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو يَقُولُ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِذَا سَمِعْتُمُ الْمُؤَذِّنَ فَقُولُوا مِثْلَ مَا يَقُولُ وَصَلَّوْا عَلَيَّ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيَّ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ عَشْرًا ثُمَّ سَلُوا لِيَ الْوَسِيلَةَ فَإِنَّهَا مَنْزِلَةٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ لَا تَنْبَغِي إِلَّا لِعَبْدٍ مِنْ عِبَادِ اللهِ وَأَرْجُو أَنْ أَكُونَ أَنَا هُوَ فَمَنْ سَأَلَ لِيَ الْوَسِيلَةَ حَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّفَاعَةُ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, “When you hear the muezzin, say what he says, then send blessings upon me, for whoever sends blessings upon me, Allah will send blessings upon him tenfold. Then ask Allah for the wasilah for me, for it is a station in Paradise that is not fitting except for a servant among the servants of Allah, and I hope that I am that one. Whoever asks for the wasilah for me, intercession becomes permissible for him.”
