أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ حُيَيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ أَنَّ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ

يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ الْمُؤَذِّنُونَ يَفْضُلُونَنَا؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «قُلْ كَمَا يَقُولُونَ فَإِذَا انْتَهَيْتَ فَسَلْ تُعْطَ»

✧ “O Messenger of Allah, the muezzins surpass us?” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Say what they say, and when you finish, ask and you will be given.”
