أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي وَبْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَجُلَيْنِ مِنَ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُمَا سَمِعَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَا قَالَ عَبْدٌ قَطُّ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ مُخْلِصًا بِهَا رُوحُهُ مُصَدِّقًا بِهَا قَلْبُهُ لِسَانَهُ إِلَّا فُتِقَ لَهُ أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ حَتَّى يَنْظُرَ اللهُ إِلَى قَائِلِهَا وَحُقَّ لِعَبْدٍ نَظَرَ اللهُ إِلَيْهِ أَنْ يُعْطِيَهُ سُؤْلَهُ

✧ He heard two men from the companions of the Prophet ﷺ, that they heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'No servant ever says: There is no deity except Allah alone with no partner, His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is over all things capable—sincerely, his soul consistent with it, his heart confirming it, his tongue speaking it—except that the gates of heaven are opened for him until Allah looks at the one who says it, and it is fitting for a servant whom Allah looks at that He grants him his request.'
