✧ The Rewards for Those Who Say: There is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest. There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. There is no god but Allah, He has the sovereignty and all praise belongs to Him. There is no god but Allah, and there is no might or power except with Allah.

أَخْبَرَنِي الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ بُرْقَانَ عَنْ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ ابْنِ بِشْرٍ وَغَيْرِهِ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْهَمْدَانِيِّ عَنْ أَبَى صَالِحٍ
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ يَرْفَعُ الْحَدِيثَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ يَعْقِدُهُنَّ خَمْسًا بِأَصَابِعِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ مَنْ قَالَهُنَّ فِي يَوْمٍ أَوْ لَيْلَةٍ أَوْ فِي شَهْرٍ ثُمَّ مَاتَ فِي ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ أَوْ فِي تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةِ أَوْ فِي ذَلِكَ الشَّهْرِ غُفِرَ لَهُ ذَنْبُهُ خَالَفَهُ حَمْزَةُ الزَّيَّاتُ فِي إِسْنَادِهِ وَمَتْنِهِ

✧ From Abu Hurayrah, raising the hadith to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: He said: "Whoever says: 'There is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest. There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. There is no god but Allah, He has the sovereignty and all praise belongs to Him. There is no god but Allah, and there is no might or power except with Allah,' counting them five on his fingers. Then he said: 'Whoever says them in a day or a night or in a month, then dies on that day or that night or in that month, his sin will be forgiven.'" Hamzah al-Zayyat differed from him in its chain and text.
