✧ What the Prophet ﷺ Used to Say When He Woke Up

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ذَرٍّ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا أَصْبَحَ قَالَ أَصْبَحْنَا عَلَى فِطْرَةِ الْإِسْلَامِ وَكَلِمَةِ الْإِخْلَاصِ وَعَلَى دِينِ نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى مِلَّةِ أَبِينَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا مُسْلِمًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ [6] 9746 عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ الْمُخْتَارِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ بِهِ

✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ woke up in the morning, he would say: 'We have entered the morning upon the natural disposition of Islam, the word of sincerity, the religion of our Prophet Muhammad, and the creed of our father Ibrahim, upright and Muslim, and he was not of the polytheists.'
