✧ The reward of the one who says in the morning and in the evening: "I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, Islam as my religion, and Muhammad ﷺ as my Prophet.

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْأَشْعَثِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي عُقَيْلٍ عَنْ سَابِقِ بْنِ نَاجِيَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَامٍ
أَنَّهُ كَانَ فِي مَسْجِدِ حِمْصَ فَمَرَّ رَجُلٌ فَقُمْتُ إِلَيْهِ فَقُلْتُ حَدِّثْنِي حَدِيثًا سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ لَمْ تَدَاوَلَهُ الرِّجَالُ بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَهُ قَالَ أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ مُسْلِمٍ يَقُولُ حِينَ يُصْبِحُ ثَلَاثًا وَحِينَ يُمْسِي رَضِيتُ بِاللهِ رَبًّا وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ نَبِيًّا إِلَّا كَانَ حَقًّا عَلَى اللهِ أَنْ يُرْضِيَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ [7] ذِكْرُ اخْتِلَافِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ وَعَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ عَلَى أَبِي هَانِئٍ فِي خَبَرِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ فِيهِ

✧ While he was in the mosque of Hims, a man passed by. I stood up to him and said, 'Narrate to me a hadith you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that men have not transmitted between you and him.' He said, 'I came to the Prophet ﷺ while he was saying: "There is no Muslim servant who says three times in the morning and in the evening: 'I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, Islam as my religion, and Muhammad ﷺ as my Prophet,' except that it is incumbent upon Allah to please him on the Day of Resurrection."' [7] Mention of the disagreement of Abd al-Rahman b. Shurayh and Abd Allah b. Wahb from Abu Hani' regarding the report of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri in it.
