✧ What men are allowed to wear in terms of silk.

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ عَنْ عُمَرَ قَالَ

«إِيَّاكُمْ وَلِبَاسَ الْحَرِيرِ فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ لِبَاسِ الْحَرِيرِ إِلَّا هَكَذَا وَرَفَعَ إِصْبَعَيْهِ السَّبَّابَةَ وَالْوُسْطَى»

Translation

✧ Beware of wearing silk, for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade wearing silk except like this—and he raised his two fingers, the forefinger and the middle finger.
