✧ The Attribute of the Cloak of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ

أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ أَبِي أَسْمَاءَ مَوْلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ

كَانَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ جُبَّةٌ مِنْ طَيَالِسَةٍ لَبِنَتُهَا دِيبَاجٌ كِسْرَوَانِيُّ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ لَيْسَ هَذَا مَحْفُوظًا وَالَّذِي قَبْلَهُ الصَّوَابُ

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ had a jubbah of tayalisah whose strip was Kisrawan dibaj. Abu Abd al-Rahman said: This is not preserved, and the one before it is correct.
