أَخْبَرَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُوقَةَ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ قَالَ قَدِمَ عُمَرُ الْجَابِيَةَ فَقَالَ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «احْفَظُونِي فِي أَصْحَابِي ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ ثُمَّ يَأْتِي قَوْمٌ مِنْ بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ يَشْهَدُونَ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يُسْتَشْهَدُوا وَيَحْلِفُونَ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يُسْتَحْلَفُوا فَمَنْ أَحَبَّ الْجَنَّةَ فَعَلَيْهِ بِالْجَمَاعَةِ فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ مِنَ الْوَاحِدِ قَرِيبٌ وَمِنَ الِاثْنَيْنِ أَبَعْدُ وَلَا يَخْلُوَنَّ رَجُلٌ بِامْرَأَةٍ إِلَّا مَعَ ذِي مَحْرَمٍ وَمَنْ سَرَّتْهُ حَسَنَتُهُ وَسَاءَتْهُ سَيِّئَتُهُ فَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Preserve me in respect of my Companions, then those after them"—three times—"then after that there will come people who testify without being asked to testify and swear without being asked to swear. So whoever loves Paradise, let him keep to the community, for Satan is near to the one and farther from the two. No man should be alone with a woman unless there is a mahram with him. Whoever is pleased by his good deed and grieved by his evil deed is a believer."
