أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ قَامَ فِينَا أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عُمَرُ عَلَى بَابِ الْجَابِيَةِ فَقَالَ
إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَامَ فِينَا كَقِيَامِي فِيكُمْ فَقَالَ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ «أَكْرِمُوا أَصْحَابِي ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ثُمَّ يَفْشُو الْكَذِبُ حَتَّى إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لِيَحْلِفَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْتَحْلَفَ وَيَشْهَدَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْتَشْهَدَ فَمَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَنَالَ بُحْبُحَةَ الْجَنَّةٍ فَعَلَيْهِ بِالْجَمَاعَةِ فَإِنَّ يَدَ اللهِ فَوْقَ الْجَمَاعَةِ لَا يَخْلُوَنَّ رَجُلٌ بِامْرَأَةٍ فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ ثَالِثُهُمَا أَلَا إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ مَعَ الْوَاحِدِ وَهُوَ مِنَ الِاثْنَيْنِ أَبَعْدُ أَلَا مَنْ سَاءَتْهُ سَيِّئَتُهُ وَسَرَّتْهُ حَسَنَتُهُ فَذَلِكَ الْمُؤْمِنُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood among us like my standing among you and said: O people, “Honor my Companions, then those who follow them, then those who follow them. Then lying will spread, until a man swears an oath before being asked to swear and gives testimony before being asked to testify. Whoever is pleased to attain the midst of Paradise must adhere to the community, for the hand of Allah is over the community. No man should be alone with a woman, for the third of them is Satan. Indeed, Satan is with the solitary person and is farther from two. Indeed, whoever is grieved by his evil deed and pleased by his good deed is the believer.”
