✧ The obligation of women's expenses and clothing

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَمَرَ بِصَدَقَةٍ فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ عِنْدِي دِينَارٌ قَالَ «أَنْفِقْهُ عَلَى نَفْسِكَ» قَالَ عِنْدِي آخَرُ قَالَ «أَنْفِقْهُ عَلَى زَوْجَتِكَ» قَالَ عِنْدِي آخَرُ قَالَ «أَنْفِقْهُ عَلَى وَلَدِكَ» قَالَ عِنْدِي آخَرُ قَالَ «أَنْفِقْهُ عَلَى خَادِمِكَ» قَالَ عِنْدِي آخَرُ قَالَ «أَنْتَ أَبْصَرُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded giving charity, so a man came and said: "I have a dinar." He said: "Spend it on yourself." He said: "I have another." He said: "Spend it on your wife." He said: "I have another." He said: "Spend it on your child." He said: "I have another." He said: "Spend it on your servant." He said: "I have another." He said: "You know best."
