al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Nasa'i) 8927

✧ The Interpretation of the Saying of Allah, Glorified and Exalted be He, "Your wives are a tilth for you, so go to your tilth when or how you will." [al-Baqarah: 223]

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

كَانَتِ الْيَهُودُ تَقُولُ فِي الرَّجُلِ يَأْتِي امْرَأَتَهُ مِنْ قِبَلِ دُبُرِهَا فِي قُبُلِهَا إِنَّ الْوَلَدَ يَكُونُ أَحْوَلَ فَنَزَلَتْ {نِسَاؤُكُمْ حَرْثٌ لَكُمْ فَأْتُوا حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّى شِئْتُمْ} [البقرة 223]

✧ The Jews used to say about a man who comes to his wife from her rear into her front that the child will be cross-eyed. Then was revealed: {Your wives are a tilth for you, so go to your tilth when or how you will} [al-Baqarah: 223].
