✧ The coming of women is obligatory

أَخْبَرَنَا هِلَالُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قِيلَ لَهُ إِنَّ الْيَهُودَ تَقُولُ إِذَا جَاءَ الرَّجُلُ امْرَأَتَهُ مُجَبَّاةً جَاءَ الْوَلَدُ أَحْوَلُ فَقَالَ «كَذَبَتْ يَهُودُ» فَنَزَلَتْ {نِسَاؤُكُمْ حَرْثٌ لَكُمْ فَأْتُوا حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّى شِئْتُمْ} [البقرة 223]

✧ It was said to the Messenger of God ﷺ that the Jews say: If a man comes to his wife from behind, the child will be cross-eyed. He said: "The Jews have lied." Then was revealed: {Your wives are a tilth for you, so go to your tilth when or how you will} [al-Baqarah: 223].
