أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيٌّ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُسْهِرٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ
«كُنْتُ أَلْعَبُ بِالْبَنَاتِ فِي بَيْتِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَكُنَّ لِي صَوَاحِبَ يَأْتِينَنِي فَيَلْعَبْنَ مَعِي فَيَتَقَمَّعْنَ إِذَا رَأَيْنَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُسَرِّ بِهِنَّ إِلَيَّ فَيَلْعَبْنَ مَعِي»

✧ “I used to play with dolls in the house of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and I had friends who would come to me and play with me, and they would hide when they saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, but the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would send them to me, and they would play with me.”
