أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ وَهْبٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ وَجَابِرَ بْنَ عُمَيْرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّيْنِ يَرْمِيَانِ فَقَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا لِصَاحِبِهِ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لَيْسَ فِيهِ ذِكْرُ اللهِ فَهُوَ لَهْوٌ وَلَعِبٌ إِلَّا أَرْبَعَ مُلَاعَبَةُ الرَّجُلِ امْرَأَتَهُ وَتَأْدِيبُ الرَّجُلِ فَرَسَهُ وَمَشْيُهُ بَيْنَ الْغَرَضَيْنِ وَتَعْلِيمُ الرَّجُلِ السَّبَّاحَةَ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “Everything in which there is no remembrance of Allah is diversion and play, except four: a man's playing with his wife, a man's training his horse, his walking between the two targets, and a man's teaching swimming.”
