أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ قَالَ قَالَ وَهْبُ بْنُ كَيْسَانَ أَشْهَدُ لَسَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَقُولُ لَمَّا اشْتَدَّ الْأَمْرُ يَوْمَ بَنِي قُرَيْظَةَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ يَأْتِينَا بِخَبَرِهِمْ» فَلَمْ يَذْهَبْ أَحَدٌ فَذَهَبَ الزُّبَيْرُ فَجَاءَ بِخَبَرِهِمْ ثُمَّ اشْتَدَّ الْأَمْرُ أَيْضًا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «مَنْ يَأْتِينَا بِخَبَرِهِمْ» فَلَمْ يَذْهَبْ أَحَدٌ فَذَهَبَ الزُّبَيْرُ ثُمَّ اشْتَدَّ الْأَمْرُ أَيْضًا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مَنْ يَأْتِينَا بِخَبَرِهِمْ فَلَمْ يَذْهَبْ أَحَدٌ فَذَهَبَ الزُّبَيْرُ فَجَاءَ بِخَبَرِهِمْ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ حَوَارِيًّا وَإِنَّ الزُّبَيْرَ حَوَارِيَّ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Who will bring us news of them?" No one went, so al-Zubayr went and brought their news. Then the matter intensified again, and the Prophet ﷺ said: "Who will bring us news of them?" No one went, so al-Zubayr went. Then the matter intensified again, and the Prophet ﷺ said: "Who will bring us news of them?" No one went, so al-Zubayr went and brought their news. The Prophet ﷺ said: "Every Prophet has a disciple, and al-Zubayr is my disciple."
