أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ مَنْ رَجُلٌ يَأْتِينَا بِخَبَرِ بَنِي قُرَيْظَةَ قَالَ الزُّبَيْرُ أَنَا فَذَهَبَ عَلَى فَرَسِهِ فَجَاءَ بِخَبَرِهِمْ ثُمَّ قَالَ الثَّانِيَةَ فَقَالَ الزُّبَيْرُ أَنَا فَذَهَبَ ثُمَّ الثَّالِثَةَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ حَوَارِيٌّ وَحَوَارِيَّ الزُّبَيْرُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said on the day of the Trench: "Who is the man who will bring us news of Banu Qurayzah?" Al-Zubayr said: "I will." He went on his horse and brought their news. Then he said it a second time, and al-Zubayr said: "I will" and went. Then a third time, and the Prophet ﷺ said: "Every Prophet has a disciple, and my disciple is al-Zubayr."
