أَخْبَرَنِي هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو رَوْقٍ عَطِيَّةُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْهَمَدَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْغَرِيفِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ عَسَّالٍ قَالَ

بَعَثَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي سَرِيَّةٍ فَقَالَ «سِيرُوا بِاسْمِ اللهِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ تُقَاتِلُونَ عَدُوَّ اللهِ وَلَا تَغُلُّوا وَلَا تَغْدِرُوا وَلَا تُمَثِّلُوا وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا وَلِيدًا»

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent us in a secret expedition and said: "March in the name of Allah, in the cause of Allah. You will fight the enemy of Allah. Do not steal from the spoils, do not act treacherously, do not mutilate, and do not kill a child."
